Some Great Training

For the last couple of weeks, I've been getting in some fantastic training. Long runs, long swims, long rides, bike/run bricks, swim/run bricks, and one hard core day of swim/bike/run. That doesn't make for very exciting blogs because the schedule is usually as follows:

7am Get up. Eat breakfast. Check email
8am Start training
1:59pm Stumble back to house starving, dehydrated, and utterly exhausted
2pm Lunch. Watch an episode of the tv show 24
3:30pm Nap time
5pm Afternoon training or a bit more rest and 24
7pm Dinner fit for a king!
9:30pm Check email. Bed time

It has been quite refreshing to ONLY be training. That is the focus of the day and everything is scheduled around that. Usually its the opposite.

Nearly every pool around here is a 50 meter. Its so nice to not have to flip, flip, flip. This swim center had 2 50 meter pools (1 indoor, 1 outdoor) and the indoor one had an adjustable floor!

The sunsets around here have been absolutely breath taking. It almost looks like the sky is on fire!
