When I was out in Maui for the XTERRA World Championship in Oct, the last thing I did before hopping on a plane back to snow filled Colorado, was go swimming with sea turtles! Check out the video!

Star Wars in Concert

A couple of weeks ago, Shelby and I went to see Star Wars in Concert. It was music from all 6 Star Wars movie performed by a live orchestra and narrated by the guy who did C3PO.

We were totally geeking out and loving every minute of it. Check out all the people dressed up and the props.

Surfs Up Bro!

I'm not saying I made it look pretty, but I was definitely having a good time. While out in Hawaii, Shelby and I rented surf boards and hit the water for a few hours. Neither of us had surfed before, but it turned out to be a lot easier than I had imagined. I know it helped that we had the Rosie O'Donnell size surf boards, but on my second attempt, I popped up and rode the wave in.

I can't wait to go surfing again! Next time though I'll have proper board shorts (I got a bad surf board rash), no neoprene booties, and a rash guard shirt that isn't 3 sizes to big.
